Some of the hardest stories to tell are the ones that happen inside the church.

We don't want to gossip, divide a community, or damage someone's reputation. We may still care about the people involved or wonder whether what happened was really that bad. So experiences of manipulation, betrayal, unhealthy leadership, and spiritual abuse often become the stories that never get told.

The Church Hurt for Pastors Story Group is a small, confidential gathering for pastors, former pastors, ministry leaders, and others who have experienced harm within a church or ministry.

Each week includes a brief teaching followed by the engagement of two participant stories. Over six weeks, every participant will have the opportunity to share two stories of their own while listening to and engaging the stories of others who understand something of the same terrain.

This isn't about attacking the church or building a case against someone. It's about telling the truth about what happened, understanding what it cost you, and experiencing the healing that can come from having your story heard.
